Join us at Ole McDermitt’s Farm for the Second Annual 5K Pumpkin Run/ Walk and the Children’s Candy Corn Dash. The race will begin on the road and end on the farm. It is a road/ trail hybrid run. Race registration includes farm admission for the day and other fun swag. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.
Race Info & Description
Join us at Ole McDermitt’s Farm for the Second Annual 5K Pumpkin Run/ Walk and the Children’s Candy Corn Dash.
The race will begin on the road and end on the farm. It is a road/ trail hybrid run.
Race registration includes farm admission for the day and other fun swag. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.
Be aware that the trail portion isn’t a flat level trail and there will be a few hay bales that you can jump over or navigate around.
Wear your best costume! There will be a contest with several different divisions.
The Candy Corn Dash is for children 12 and under. They will dash around the corn maze.
Each finisher will receive a candy bag.
There will be a costume winner from the Candy Corn dashers.
Everyone who visits the farm for the race will need a farm admission. It is included in the registration fee for the 5K Pumpkin Run/ Walk and the Candy Corn Dashers.
A discounted admission of $12 per person can be added on to your registration for any spectators.
Awards will be given to the following male and female age divisions in the 5K race: Awards are based on chip timing.
10 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. As well as awards to top Overall Male and Female Finisher.
Candy Corn Dash awards to the top three finishers and Candy Bags to all finishers.
Packet pick-up 12-5 pm Friday, October 6th at the farm. Race day pick up and registration (if we aren’t at capacity) Saturday 8:30 am.
Candy Corn Dash is at 8:30 am
Pumpkin 5k is at 9:00 am
The farm is open until 6 pm.
Watch for parking signs.
There are so many wonderful things to do during your time with us on the farm.
Cows, Alpacas, Goats, and Pigs are just a few of the animals that will greet you at the gates of our Farm. We have free-roaming peacocks, chickens, and other birds!
Bring your whole family to pick out a pumpkin to carve this Fall! We have all shapes and sizes. They make great photo ops, too!
Grab a bag and head up to the top of the slide of your choice! We have TWO slides that all of our kids love to visit over and over again.
Get lost! No, really! Farmer Kenny’s Corn Maze is back for the Fall 2021 Season. Can you make it out?
Duck, Duck, Race! Beautiful vintage water pumps provide an interactive race for our favorite rubber duck friends. How fast can you pump water and help your duck win the race?

Pan for gems and then use our gem chart to analyze and identify yours. Afterwards, bag them up and take them home – they’re yours to keep!
Take a tour of the farm McDermitt style! See the animals, get a full view of the corn maze, hang out with your friends, and enjoy our take on this fun, Fall-classic.
Bring the kids for activities you won’t find at home. From our music wall to our unique playground structures, they won’t want to leave!
